The management team at Linear has been very proactive in helping me find my first apartment. While searching for a new home, my girlfriend and I toured six different apartments in downtown Phoenix, including Linear’s sister building iLuminate (right across the street from each other).
The main priority was finding a place located near ASU Law, as I will be starting my first year of law school this August. All six properties we toured are within walking distance of the ASU Law campus.
Of the... six properties we toured, Linear/iLuminate had the best customer service hands down. We were able to lock in a great price and enjoyed a four-week concession in consideration for the length of the lease we signed. An extra perk is the flexible access to the amenities at both properties (pool, gym, common area, roof).
Since applying for Linear, I have received nothing but stellar service. Christian has been quick and helpful in answering my many questions. If you are a stickler for all things procedural, you’d be happy with his customer service. Both apartment buildings look clean and well-maintained. Depending on your stylistic preference, you might like either apartment. Both give a different vibe.
I appreciated the integrity and honesty of the leasing agent. He did not sugarcoat anything. He was upfront and transparent in response to my questions and gave assurance that incidences from prior reviews were addressed and corrected by management. I am looking forward to my move-in date, and will be sure to give a follow-up review once I begin living at this apartment.

I know of 3 residents who had bed bugs. The complex did not notify other residents. This place is disgusting.

I've lived at Linear for two years. After I first moved in I was disappointed to discover they rented the apartments out as hotel rooms. There were always random people coming and going so it didn't feel like a community. The building itself is nice and generally speaking I haven't had any major issues. However lately security has been bad, the front door doesn't completely shut so anyone can walk in at any time. With First Friday there are a lot of undesirable people around. The apartments... facing the courtyard and pool pickup all of the noise. You will also hear the bars and restaurants very loudly.
